front to back: highway 22, gina/dave, grass, nice pond, swell forest with leaves of many colours.
Who can turn the world on with her smile?
Who can take a nothing day, and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile?
Well it's you girl, and you should know it
With each glance and every little movement you show it
Love is all around, no need to waste it
You can have a town, why don't you take it
You're gonna make it after all
You're gonna make it after all...
ok, if you haven't clued in yet, those lyrics refer to my bike and the bikeclub ride out to BC on the weekend. it was so good, dudes. i should of threw my helmet in the air at the intersection of highway 8 and 22 'cause i was that happy...

it did feel really amazing to complete the ride. i thought i'd never be able. if i can do it, pretty much anyone can.
I'm impressed! That photo is great Al. I really like the colors and depth. Well Done.
I've never seen you so happy Al!
dave,
you amaze and kill me at the same time...if terry fox can do it you can too. next, we take banff...i'm serious. you can do it. i know you can...$24.65 plus gst for the greyhound bus for the ride home... good deal, eh?
dean,
it might not come as a surprise to you and all my loyal readers but i may sound (or read) really happy but i'm cryin' on the inside...
seriously, this may sound a bit corny, but it was magical bike ride that day.
let me express this extraordinary feeling mathematically:
effortless pedalling + wind through hair + beautiful landscape + good friends + coyote roadkill + sunshine = magical bike ride.
it was like the perfect storm...
you should come out sometime.
kelsey,
thanx for those kind words...
Beautiful picture. And it sounds like quite the adventure... wow.
Really, I'm incredibly impressed. Well done to you all...
maybe banff, one day - i think i should maybe train a little bit more and be in a little better shape. it does feel great, though. i'm ready for the Belgian, Dutch or French countryside...
dave, i think as time goes by, that you'll continually surprise by your physical abilities (ralphie really splurged on your hip, eh...). aim high. i don't think the belgian, or dutch, or french countryside is much of a challenge for you....
kyle,
thanx for those kind words.
