I saw my gm and gf, and my ggm and ggf and my "Lola's" gravesites while I was in the Philippines. Its a great experience to finally 'meet' the relatives who gave birth to your Mom.

I mean MY Mom.
i think would of been pretty interesting to meet my ggf's and m's. my ggf was born circa 1870. he went through in his life: 4 emperors, a couple of wars with japan, 2 revolutions, paid the canadian head tax, lived in golden b.c. for a while, brought forks back to the village... wow. he passed away in 1962.
I can only speculate, but I'm guessing mine were probably all sons o' bitches :)
